D-2: The Seoul Immigration Office

Today I woke up at 1PM after a very long sleep~

I think I’ve never been that tired in my entire life.

Right after getting up I went to exchange money first.
The funny thing: The need your passport to cahnge money. Don’t ask me why… I don’t get it myself X“D

I had 4 different currencies…., US Dollar, Euro, Won and Chinese Yuan :D

Than we found my language school pretty easy and I could pay my course starting on Monday =)

I bought a POP Card (subway card). Really confusing if you ask me… First you buy teh card that you add money at another machine… why so complicated? Can’t you just buy a card WITH money on it?
At least you get some coupons with it =D

After I lost it already once within the first 5 minutes we took the subway to the immigration office.
Oh the subway is so nice~ they have air con ♥

At the Immigration Office I picked a number filled out my application (even had to take a photo… Oo the worst photo of me EVER!) and waited…..

When it was my turn the lady told me: „Oh Mapo people have to go apply at the second floor.“

So…..
We went tot he second floor….
picked a number agian….
and waited for 2 houre AGAIN -.-*
(The second floor is listed to be for CHINESE people ONLY)

So to skipp time we went around looking for food ^^
I wanted ice cream… but no shop selling it X’D
We went into a 7-eleven and I got myself some noodles and strawberry milk ♥

And I learned: DO NOT EVER BUY EUROPEAN LOOKING MICROWAVE FOOD IN KOREA! Oo
What I got were SWEET Spaghetti
They were really strange
I just could not eat them
Still I did and felt ill afterwards…

The Strawberry milk was nice ;)
Very sweet but nice

On my way back I saw an Infinite advertisement for some kind of new meal at Lotteria. Think I’ll try it after the concert :3

And I think these countdowns on the traffic lights are very great and useful ^^

Back at the office we h d to wait another 30 minutes.
Than finally # 3141!

We RAN to counter 7 because you only have about 10 seconds until they call the next number if you don‘t arrive „soon“. There’s o second calling fort he number like it is in Germany.

And than the lady told me I.WON’T.GET.AN.ALIEN.REGISTRATION.CARD!
Even though I had ALL documents… AND my bank account current with a LOT of money on it….
She told me I have to bring a document of my university in Korea, that I payed $8.000 tuition to them…
THERE IS NO SUCH DOCUMENT!
Because I’m just here for EXCHANGE… I am ONLY paying my tuition in GERMANY…
So now I have to get some document which is actually not even existing … Oo

Already connected my Uni in Germany, I’ll be going tot he Germany embassy and my Uni here in Seoul next week…
Let’s see what happenes…..
So or so I was SO pissed -.-*
I waited 5 hours for NOTHING and even payed 20.000 Won for it!

Today I had to find the way home alone since my sis had to go to work
I looked around a supermarket they have in the subway station.
Actually I wanted to buy some salad (since I absolutely don’ like korean food)
BUT it’s unbelievably expensive. 2€ for ONE salad! And I actually thought they would have at least cheese in Korea… seems like they don’t Xx
I knew there wouldn’t be ham but cheese?! Come on it’s just CHEESE… I need cheese~ >_<

Well so I just walked home…
As soon as I entered the appartement mum called me to eat something. And again I got tonns to eat. I somehow managed to eat something together with drinking a LOT of water. How can Koreans eat just rice without to drink anything? It’s a mystery to me…. That stuff is just DRY nothing else Oo

Well thats it for today.
I’ll try to sleep early because I have to get up early for Shinhwa Concert tomorrow^^

P.S. today was not that hot only about 33° but the air humidity was so high Xx
No sky to be seen today…
Hope it gets better tomorrow but the weather forcast said it will be randomly raining…
